A TIME TO PRAISE

ATIME TO PRAISE THE LORD ! 1
The LORD said to my Lord,
"Sit in honor at my right hand
until I humble your enemies,
making them a footstool under your feet."

The LORD will extend your powerful dominion from Jerusalem^[a];
you will rule over your enemies.

In that day of battle,
your people will serve you willingly.
Arrayed in holy garments,
your vigor will be renewed each day like the morning dew.

The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow:
"You are a priest forever in the line of Melchizedek."

The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you.
He will strike down many kings in the day of his anger.

He will punish the nations
and fill them with their dead;
he will shatter heads
over the whole earth.

But he himself will be refreshed from brooks along the way.
He will be victorious.

The Bottomline: God ransomed his people, the Isrealites, first by making a covenant with them, and alway's delivering them time after time from thier enemies. God has ransomed us,too, from the penalty of sin by paying such a dear price for everyone - His own son Jesus Christ ! God has made that ultimate sacrifice so we, seek Him as we are unworthy, can be restored to the most joyful and godly lives.God wants this to happen for everyone in that wonderful restoration that it be continued in us simply because He wants it too, In us engaging His supreme God just as He would want us to be in those terms more than we realize in our lives today.That's why we can truly be safe in His arms in that entrust God our own life in those most powerful hands of our God, because he has proven just how strong he desires us by giving everyone His own Son Jesus Christ as our Messiah whom suffered in our behalf. catcmo2006
