Hanna

Hanna [ 1Sam.1:1-28] Strengths & Accomplishments
(a.) Hanna turned her life only unto God when nothing else mattered but God in her time of need. (b.) Hanna prayed from her heart. (c.) Hanna carried out her vow, even when it was costly. _________________________________ Weaknesses & Mistakes: Hanna allowed the circumstances of her own life dicate, her feelings and self - worth. _________________________________ Lessons From Her Life: We should turn one's life completely unto God before our situation becomes very unbearable. God does fulfill our needs. Keeping our vows to God will sustains our own close very personal relationship with him, allowing him to shower us with his blessings. __________________________ Key Verse : " Hanna was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed unto the Lord." ( 1Sam. 1:10). ______________________________ The Bottom Line: In theses verses Hanna breathed a beauitful prayer through her own tears. She admitted her own helpness and acknowledgement of one's own needs of God which is mighty in power in which she knew inside of one- self. In faith she not only committed herself unto God about being " Infertility in knowing this has turn this issue over to God in totally surrendering her life unto service in the Lord in having a son in being a servant unto God in that son's own life that God would give this request in her vow before God (1:11). All of us must realize that without God's help in that divine intervention we are undoubtedly are helpless people unless we then become an overcomer of any of one's problem's or dependencies we may have within us. Learning to give - up one's own control then for us to wholly depend upon our God is the step we need to take in one's very own life. Hanna's prayer was misunderstood by " Eli" the priest, whom like we do at time in others that she was drunk, in reality she was taking a very important step toward admitting her helpness and totally committing her infertility to God. Sadly, atempts we often do misinterpreted, and have insensitive responses we do experience can be very disheartening. To credit, Hanna persevered despite the critcism she recieved. Eli soon recognized Hanna's integrity and encouraged her in prayer (1:17). No matter what kind of discouragement we face from people that's in our lives , we must persevere, God will be supporting us, even when people all around us simply do not suuport us in times like these. catcmo2006
