Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.Psalm 99:9He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.1 John 4:8And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is the Only God!!!! God is the Living God !!!! This seperates Him from All other gods and idols, which merely forms humans have created.
Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
23Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
24Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you.
Isaiah 41:22-24
10Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
11Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
12The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
13The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
14He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
15Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
16He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
17And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
18They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
19And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
20He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?Isaiah 44:9-20
Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth, their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: your carriages were heavy loaden; they are a burden to the weary beast.They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.Isaiah 46:1,2,6,710But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.Jeremiah 10:10
For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;1 Thessalonians 1:9
16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Matthew 16:16
The Living God is also Lord and Master!!!! God is Sovereign Ruler over All the earth, the Creator and Judge of all Persons living on the earth!!!! Lord of Lords For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:Deuteronomy 10:17
Jesus Christ, the Crucified is both Lord and Christ Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.Acts 2:36
Jesus Christ has receives the same titles as the Father, leading to the doctrine of the Holy Spirit of the Trinity. Which is kinda hard for me to explain it to each of You simply because I'm just a Servant of Him and not a full fledge Pastor of A Ministry or nor do I have andy kinds of titles persay that this is whom I am. May The Lord God help Me through it as I helplessly try to share all of this information unto You. One fact that I do know are these words of which I truyly abide by are these statements in my own personal lifeand all of it's follwing those fundamental truths that has been required of Me as a believer/Servant as being a member of a church. This part will be lengthy for me to up hold unto the Lord as best as I can to each of You today.
The Scriptures: We or I believe that the 66 boks of the Old and New Testaments as orginally written were God - breathed both verbally and written in every part of the book. We Believe God! Who is Truth ! Therefore communicated through the Spirit - controlled men so the Scriptures are without error and therefore authoritive in All they teach and in All matters that they touch. We believe the Bible is the Supernatural Revelation of God's Will for man and constitutes the Only infallible guide for faith and life. Scriptures: 7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.Psalm 19:7-11Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.Proverbs 30:5Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.Proverbs 30:6For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.Matthew 5:18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.Matthew 5:1834Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;John 10:34,35For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.Romans 15:4All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16,1719We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.2 Peter 1:19-21For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.Revelation 22:18,19
The Trinity : We believe there is One True and Living God; while there is indivisible unity in the Godhead. He exists in 3 seperate persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - equal in the divine attribute and excuting distinct, but harmonious offices in the work of the Creation and Redemption. Scriptures: And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.Matthew 3:16,17Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Matthew 28:19Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.John 6:273But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.Acts 5:3,4
14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.2 Corinthians 13:14But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.Hebrews 1:8
God The Father: We believe God, The Father is an infinite, eternal, wise, All powerful, Holy, just, good, loving and All knowing Spirit,the maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth. Scriptures: the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.Genesis 1:1 7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.Psalm 139:7-109Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,Isaiah 46:9O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.Ephesians 4:6Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.1 Timothy 1:17And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.Revelation 19:6
God The Son, The Lord Jesus Christ: We believe that The Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary as No other man was ever or nor can be born of a woman. He is " God manifest in the flesh" He lived a life of absolute sinless and in His death made full and various atonement for our sins, dying not as a martyr, but as a voluntary subsitute in the sinnser's place. He rose bodily on the 3rd. day and ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest, interceeding and preparing a place for us. He shall appear in the air to rapture His saints, and after 7 years, shall come again with the saints to set up the throne of David and establish His millennial Kingdom. Scriptures:
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.Isaiah 7:14.
19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.Matthew 1:18-25
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.Matthew 28:6
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.John 1:1
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3
16After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:Acts 15:16
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:1 Corinthians 15:4
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:16
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.Hebrews 7:25
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.Hebrews 8:6
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.Hebrews 12:2
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:1 Peter 3:18
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1 John 2:1
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.Revelation 3:21
God The Holy Spirit: We believe that The Holy Spirit is a divine Person possessing All the attributes of Diety and is very equal with God the Father and God the Son. We believe that He was very active in creation and is the restrainer of the evil one; that He convicts of sin, of judgment, and of righteousness; that He bears witness to the Truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony;that He is the agent in the new birth; that He seals, endure, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, helps, and distrutes spiritual gifts to All believers; that the Apostlic gifts, such as toungs and healings, were unique to the first century and ceased as the New Testiment Scriptures were complete; Scriptures Used:
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.Genesis 1:1-3
19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Matthew 28:19
39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)John 7:39
16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.John 14:16,17,26.
8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.John 16:8-11
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.Romans 12:3-8
8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.1 Corinthians 12:8-13
28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.1 Corinthians 12:28-31
8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.1 Corinthians 13:8-12
13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.Ephesians 1:13,14.
6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:2 Thessalonians 2:6-8.
13But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:2 Thessalonians 2:13
God Is Holy : This is the very unique quality of God'sexistence that marks him off as seperates and distinct from All else. Holiness belongs to God alone!!! It sets Him above us in Majesty, Power, Authority, Righteousness, Moral Purity, and Love. Persons or objects can be said to be Holy in virtue of being drawn into a Relationship with God. Scriptures: Lev.1:44; Lev.19:2; Isa.5:16; Isa.6:3; 1Pet.1:15,16.
God Is Eternal: He has No beginning and No end. God has always existed and will alway's to continue to exist. God Is A Spirit. He is Not material or Physical as we are. As Spirit, He does Not have limitations of material form. Spirit enables God to be with His people everywhere simultaneously. As Spirit, God chose to humble Himself and take on the form of Human flesh . ( Phil.2:6-11).
God Is Love: ( 1 John.4:8,16). God's love is always righteous, and His righteousness is alway's marked by love. Love is the Motivation behind Revelation ( John3:16). God's love is expressed as His mercy in forgiving sinners and in recuing or blessing those do Not deserve His attention.
God Is The Father: The love of God finds supreme expression as Father in 3 seperate senses that Must Not be confused : (a.) He is the Father of Jesus Christ in a unique sense - by incarnation ( Matt.11:25-27; Mark 14:36; Rom. 8:15; Gal.4:6;2 Pet.1:17. (b.) He is the Father of believers - by adoption or redemption ( Matt. 5:43-48; Luke 11:2,13; Gal.3:26). (C.) He is Father of All persons - by creation ( Ps.68:5; Isa. 64:8; Mal.2:10; Matt.5:45; 1 Pet.1:17).
God is Intimate: He is Not an impersonal force like gravity,exerting influence in some mechanical way. He has personal characteristics, just as we do. He forms relationships and has purpose and will. He is a very Jealous God, taking Himself seriously and insisting that others take Him very seriously. ( Ex. 34:14; Neh. 1:2; 1Cor.10:22). God's g;ory refers to the weight or influence. He carries in the universe and to the overwhelming brillance when He appears to people (Ex.16:7-10; Isa. 6:3; Eph.1:12-17; Heb.1:3). It is His presence in ALL of His Sovereign power, righteousness, and love. We see the glory of God when we are deeply impressed with a sence of His presence and power.
God's Wisdom is His perfect awareness of what is happening in All of His creation in any given moment. This inclueds His knowledge of the final outcome of His creation and how He will work from the beginning to ending of All human history.( Job.11:4-12; Job.28:1-28; Ps.139; Rom.11). It also includes His own ability to know what is best for each and everyone of His creatures.
God's Power is His ability to accomplish His purposes and to carry out His will in this World. He can do what needs to be done in any given circumstance. ( Job.36:22-33; Isa. 40:10-31; Dan.3:1-30; Mat.19:16-26; 1 Cor.1:18-28).
God's Righteousness expresses itself in very many ways ( Ex.2:23-25; Josh.23:1-16; Ps.71:14-21; Isa.51:5-8; Acts 10:34,35; Rom.3:5-36).
God's Grace is very apparent as He works in love as Redeemer to save the sinful, rebellious human creatures and to renew His fallen creation. He makes Salvation possible. He redeemed Isreal in exdous from Egypt (Ex.1-15); through the prophets He promised a Messiah who could save His people the fallen creation. Jesus Christ He provided that Salvation ( John 3:16). Redemption in Jesus Christ completes creation carrying out the purpose of God and making final, complete salvation possible.
God Works In History: The Soverign God excerices His very Lordship or Ownership of this World by continuing to work in His World and through His people. God allows people "Freedom" to be themselves and make their own "Free Choices," but workd within those choices to accomplish His eternal purposes. This is called " God's Providence". God has Not predetermined all the events of human history; yet He continues to work in that history in ways we do Not necessarily see or understand. God.will one day bring His purpose to fulfillment, bringing history to a close and ushering in eternity.
The Bottom Line for me is to know that our God and His Son Jesus is My everything to Me and very precious in my own heart and life today.No matter what things may be written that contradicts itself as other's may portrays themselves in preparing our Gospels in serval areas, such things often times may confuse the mind. But God knows such things that have been said about our author, but one thing for sure is God is truths in what He said about All things that concerns us and himself, and His Son Jesus Christ. I BELIEVE that our precious, precious Jesus Christ Himself was in that Davids Royal line and born of a virgin to come down from heaven to help a sinner to be free like myself. Jesus Christ had identified with us the human race but yet He was so much more - "The Son of God" 9And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.Mark 1:9,10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him11And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.:Mark 1:10,11.To Me that truly Identifies in whom our Precious Jesus unto all mankind and as He showed us Himself in waling as He did before us as human beings going through simliar things as He did as we know what to do in the exact manner as our precious, precious Jesus had shown us through His Holy Spirit and His word. What A Mighty, mighty God we surely serve and in praising Him for all that He have done for us that when it truly comes down to it that I'm so very much unworthy in being saved and often times undone to be a servant of the master as I daily walk this earth. I thank God for His cross that saved Me so I could get a twinkle of what He has inside of me and my life today. 1Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? (Isa.66:1),( Isa.60:13-22) Oh such a time as we are in today in Isreal will arise out of darkness and shine with God's glory as we gentiles shall come unto that ligh as All of will be worshipping our God. Hallelujah ! That worship of nations at Jerusalem where they will bow themselves down before our God at that very beauitful city of the Lord in giving our praises as we all are filled with such brightness that uncontained for it's that glory of the Lord that is within us and everywhere in the city. Thank You Jesus! Blessed be the Name of our God, His Son, Jesus Christ, our Redeemer whom lives in eternity.
catcmo2006 Thank You for stopping in this site it's about Jesus Christ first and prayers, intecessory prayer's and at other times about this vast world we live in today which this old world as we all know it is slowly departing to be reaching our home in glory.
