Peace, The Lord Will Fight for Us All

Peace
So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall then shall the LORD be my God: ( Gen.28:21).

Jacob's vow.

Jacob made a solemn vow on this occasion. In this observe, 1. Jacob's faith. He trusts that God will be with him, and will keep him; he depends upon it. 2. Jacob's moderation in his desires. He asks not for soft clothing and dainty meat. If God give us much, we are bound to be thankful, and to use it for him; if he gives us but little, we are bound to be content, and cheerfully to enjoy him in it. 3. Jacob's piety, and his regard to God, appear in what he desired, that God would be

with him, and keep him. We need desire no more to make us easy and happy. Also his resolution is, to cleave to the Lord, as his God in covenant. When we receive more than common mercy from God, we should abound in gratitude to him. The tenth is a fit proportion to be devoted to God, and employed for him; though it may be more or less, as God prospers us, 1Co 16:2. Let us then remember our Bethels, how we stand engaged by solemn vows to yield ourselves to

the Lord, to take him for our God, and to devote all we have and are to his glory!he LORD be my God:The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. ( Ex.14:14)

The Israelites murmur, Moses comforts them.

There was no way open to Israel but upward, and thence their deliverance came. We may be in the way of duty, following God, and hastening toward heaven, yet may be troubled on every side. Some cried out unto the Lord; their fear led them to pray, and that was well. God brings us into straits, that he may bring us to our knees. Others cried out against Moses; fear set them murmuring as if God were not still able to work miracles. They quarrel with Moses for bringing them out of Egypt;

and so were angry with God for the greatest kindness ever done them; thus gross are the absurdities of unbelief. Moses says, Fear ye not. It is always our duty and interest, when we cannot get out of troubles, yet to get above our fears; let them quicken our prayers and endeavours, but not silence our faith and hope. to ?Stand still, to ? think not to save yourselves either by fighting or flying; wait God's orders, and observe them. Compose yourselves, by confidence in God, into peaceful thoughts

of the great salvation God is about to work for you. If God brings his people into straits, he will find a way to bring them out. (Ex 14:15-20).

The Bottomline : As we all have learned from our scriptures that this place was known as a "Religious Significance Practice" but we have come to know that kind of a differences in which we have been delievered from that and have such a better relationship in the Lord when it comes just between us alone with Jesus Christ in spending time alone with him in our prepared places in our homes to be alone with him. For us it's a liberation in offering of self unto the Lord in vows unto Him,which with it is an allegiance in for the exchange in His promised protection with His blessing being completed in our behalf. As it's been known to be the " House of God" not just in a sanctuary in a church setting but He whom resides in His people whom are very deeply devoted in the Lord. Our "God" will and does fight for us, He has already assured us in His Word, but we (self) has to have "faith" in Jesus Christ in truly believing that he'll do it and trust His everyword.It takes the person in being obedient and having faith to what he's said unto us. We must be watchful at all times against the spiritual enemys, and not expect that our warfare will be over till our work is ended. The Word of God is the "Sword" of the Spirit, which we ought to have always at hand, and to "Never" ever have to seek for it, either our labors, or in conflicts, as Christians. Some people thinks it's good works and is likely to go on with that sort of thinking which is non-sense to say the least, but to those whom go on with it is likely to succeed in all whom labor in it and truly make it one's own business of it. Satan "fears" to assult the very watchful christians; or if attacked, the fights for us we "Must " wait to the close of life, "Never" ever putting off one's armor till our work it's finished and the warfare ended, then we shall be welcomed to the rest and having Joy in the Lord. (Neh.4:20). Just remeber this : Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.( James 2:17) . Faith is the ultimately is the cornerstone of our actions in actively proving we all need God's help no one is amune to this central fact ! Some folk's when called upon to actively prove our faith, have refused. We all have made a total commitment that that we have failed to back -up one's actions. Let me remind the readers this point " " Faith that doesn't show itself by good deeds is No faith at all - it is very dead and useless " If "we" believers believe in God's principles but refuse to act on it, then we are not in the Lord.,then if we believe God can help us but still refuse to obey His will, we have proven that our faith is truly dead. The "True Faith" in God expresses itself in all of our committments in actions and it ought to be backed -up our words if we will want to succeed in Jesus Christ is "Yahweh - Sabbaoth, Yahweh - Shammah " The Lord of Peace & The Lord Is There.catcmo2006
