Jesus Christ Is Precious
What is precious to YOU? Something which is so very " precious" is something of value (high worth or cost), In this very moderen world of materialism and tons of wickedness, fewer and fewer people recognize that the things of God as precious. Very few people place any real value upon the "Bible" these days. In fact, many people express contempt at the very mentioned Name Of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Peter knew the Lord Jesus Christ is a very precious to the believer... Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 1 Peter 2:7 KJV. Jesus is so very precious to Me because He truly does love me for who I am, a very rotton sinner that plainly deserves Hell,
"For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:7-8 KJV
Jesus did for us what No one else would have done, He has solely given His very own life just for our sinful souls. To be honest with You, I just can't think of anyone that cares enough for me enough to die for me, not in a million years for what Jesus Christ did for me and You. Jesus sacrificed His very own life and He was literally oppressed, afflicted, yet He not even opened His own mouth, He had been brought just as a sheep getting ready for it's slaughter, taken from His prison cell, stricken and beaten as they bruised Him , wounded Him, dispised, rejected, as He bore our grief as He had been severly tortured for You and I. Jesus Christ is so very precious to me what a mighty Savior I have He so Precious ! The Apostle Peter also recognized his problems and hardships...That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:1 Peter 1:7 (King James Version)
Peter realized that unshakable faith only comes from having your faith shaken. Few believer's comprehends this truth. Frew believers realize that the road to a stronger faith is a road of trials and tribulaton. The way to stronger muscles is not lying around relaxing. No!, the road to stronger muscles is a road that's painful muscles tearing and rebuilding. The lactic burns! I remember going to a gym and the trainer helped me through all of the excerize equipment that was there. In days that followed, I could hardly move, I had hurt from head to toe. I just hadn't felt that way in many years. Of course after a while I hadn't felt that pain like I did when I first arrived as I continued on in that place and my muscles was forming into a neat defintion to somehing that I hadn't seen in a long time. I began to feel good about myself . In the gym to me ws "No pain, No gain" if we were to ask Jesus to increase our faith, then we are truly asking Him in having God to send all the problems your way and hardships.... that's the only way to have stronger faith. Peter realized this truth and esteemed the trial of His own faith as being so very precious. He also recognized the promises of God's Word as precious ...Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4. It's only through the promises of God that we can partake of the "DIVINE NATURE". This simply means that God's power and blessings are obtained through His promises. God keeps His promises ! The rainbow is more that just a reminder to us that God will never destroy the earth by flooding, it's a constant reminder to All humanity that God keeps His promises. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;Titus 1:2 KJV.
There are thousands of promises in the Bible of which God has indeed proised to All mankind. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 KJV. If We simply call (trust) upon the Name of Jesus Christ then we will be saved and that's a promise from God.Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 KJV. Jesus Christ is the only one whom saves us in our life ! If You want to see God's powerful hands of power and blesings operating in Your life, then You and I need to learn of His promises of God. Some of His promises have conditions, others are indeed unconditional. The promises of eterna; life is very conditional, You must believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ or You and I will Not abtain it. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.John 3:36 KJV. The Apostle Peter also recognized the "blood of Jesus Christ" as being precious ... Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:1 Peter 1:18,19 KJV. Indeed, Jesus Christ's blood is so very wonderfully precious to All believer's, and for us Not that atoning blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ blood is the theme of entire Word of God, from the blood of 'Able's "slain lamb (Jesus Christ) in the scripture, And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Rev.7:14 KJV.22And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22 KJV. It declares that there is NO remission of sins without the shedding of Jesus Christ's blood. The blood of Jesus is the only way for our sins to be forgiven ...In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Col.1:14 KJV. Thank God for the atoning of Jesus Christ, the Son of God ! So what is precious to You ? Is Jesus precious to You? Do You or I cherrish that atoning blood of Jesus Christ ? Do You or I recognize the hardships in not only in my life but Your as well? It truly does mean that it leads us to a much stronger faith! You and I ought to value of All of God's promises as we truly lean on Him day by day in our life as He get's us through it all. Most people today still mock at God and laugh at His teachings, and have the same ole cynical attitutes as the believer viewed Jesus Christ on His cros at calvery... And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth. Matt.27:39-44 KJV. Notice the word "If" mentioned 3 times in the proceeding Scriptures. The Unbelievers continually mocked Jesus Christ by Challanging His authority, power, and His deity. Oh, how wicked and very decietful are the sinful hearts of mankind... The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jer.17:9 KJV. Let's Not fool ourselves into thinking for a moment that those unbelieving religious leaders would have accepted Jesus Christ if He had come down of the cross? Not for a moment! They hated God unconditionally. No matter what Jesus did, the wicked religious leaders never ever would have accepted Him because Jesus Christ had a good heart and was a righteous man. The wicked people of today is still placing God on trial! " To the believers No explanation is necessary; to the unbelieving No explanation is possible. The world's heathen will never accept Jesus Christ, just as they will never accept a righteous person. The things that is soooo very precious unto us as believer's are meaningless to the unsaved heathen. Even the Gospel of Jesus Christ himself is foolishness to the unbelievers... For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1Cor.1:18 KJV. So what is truly precious to You My Friend? I do truly know in My own heart this one thing! He'll alway's be sooooooooo very precious to me until He takes me Home.
